It’s that time of the year again– The season of grilling has begun as neighbors open up the pool, clean up the yard, trim the unruly grasses, and throw some backyard bashes! The most difficult part of throwing an effective grilling party is, of course, the food. Everyone wants to produce creative and unique options, but not break the bank when grilling for friends and family. Below are some deliciously familiar, yet unique items to incorporate when you fire up that grill!

Lemon Kebabs: Add a citrus twist to your kebab by adding lemon quarters to traditional meat and veggie combinations.

Quesadillas: Brush a tortilla with olive oil, throw on the toppings, and fold it over once the cheese has melted! It is hard to go wrong with this one folks.

Avocados: Place each seedless half on the grill, skin side down, and drizzle with some olive oil. For a summery spin, fill with a chilled bruschetta, zesty salsa, or small devilled eggs!

Seasonal Fruit: For a sweet treat, grill pineapple, peaches, and mixed berries on the grill before pouring over ice cream! The pineapple and peach halves can be placed directly on the grill for four to five minutes on each side. For the softer berries, add some sugar and lemon juice before sealing in foil and grilling for 10 minutes.
