Since 1938, Zinn Insurance has proudly served the community with trusted insurance solutions with a focus on building lasting relationships and delivering a positive, personalized client experience. Our team works diligently to make buying insurance simple, supportive, and tailored to each client's unique needs, ensuring peace of mind, while saving time and frustration.
In 2017, Zinn joined other like-minded, entrepreneurial firms to form Alera Group to blend the personalized service and history of our local firm with the national resources of a larger organization.
In 2024, we officially began embracing the Alera Group brand. What remains consistent is holding our clients and community at the core of our business; we focus on bringing personalized solutions, expanding our capabilities, and deepening our resources nationally.

Meet Our Team
J. Gregory Zinn, CIC
Managing Partner
Greg stewards the leadership of the office, as well as serving as a Senior Account Executive. Greg joined the agency in 1985 after earning a bachelor’s degree in insurance from Penn State University and holds the Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) professional designation.
Greg serves on the boards of Community Homes of Lebanon Valley, Wellspan Good Samaritan Hospital Foundation and Onfire Youth Ministries. He is also involved in furthering Faith Driven entrepreneurship and investing.
Greg and his wife Amy reside in Lebanon. Together they enjoy time with their two adult daughters and families. Beyond the demands of family, business and community, Greg enjoys tennis and fitness, travel, and sharing good food with good friends.

Jonathan M. Zinn, LUTCF
Partner
Joining the agency in 1987, Jon is a Business Development Leader and a Senior Account Executive. He graduated from Pennsylvania College of Technology and holds the Life Underwriters Training Certification, LUTCF.
Jon and his wife Donna reside in Lebanon. They are members of Friedens Evangelical Lutheran Church, where he serves as the Chairman of the Finance Committee. Jon is also a Board member on the Myerstown Vitality Partnership Board, and a member of the Myerstown Elco Rotary Club.
He enjoys spending time boating, hunting, and fly fishing.

Chuck Snyder
Senior Account Executive
Joining the agency in 2014, Chuck is a licensed insurance executive with a focus on commercial insurance and emergency service organizations. In 2015 he was awarded the Diversification Award by the Alliance of Central Pennsylvania for his outstanding achievements in selling a variety agribusiness, energy, trucking, healthcare and technology policies. Chuck is a graduate of Penn State University with a degree in Insurance. He has served in the insurance industry since 1995 with a background in claims management, risk management, and new business development.
Chuck and his wife Hillary reside in Berks County with their daughter, Kylie, and beloved companion, Hahn. Chuck is very active in his local Fire Department, currently serving as Captain and Trustee. They are avid Reading Royals ice hockey fans, and enjoy annual family vacations to Cape May, New Jersey.

Corinne M. Bentz, CISR, CIC
Director of Commercial Accounts
Corinne oversees the Business Insurance Service team where she coordinates the service needs of our Commercial client accounts and is a member of the leadership team. Since joining Alera Group/Zinn Insurance in 2008, Corinne is a licensed agent and has earned the Certified Insurance Service Representative (CISR) and Certified Insurance Counselor (CIC) designations. Corinne has a servant’s heart and maintains a high standard of professionalism while promptly and efficiently serving her clients.
Corinne resides in Berks County with her husband, Justin, and their two sons, Alex and Owen. They are very active in their community and can always be found on the sidelines of courts and fields cheering on their boys! They enjoy spending quality family time together and have a passion for the outdoors, travel and adventure.
